pirate gold

December 29th, 2010

by far the best part about wearing this to work was how many older ladies told me I was really cute in my pirate-themed outfit. it’s all making sense now…the boots with my giant, super heavy disk of aztec gold around my neck. this one will have to have a repeat.

to the maxi

December 25th, 2010

in this skirt i feel like some sort of indescribable free spirit/goth gypsy woman. whatever it is, it feels pretty good. i guess that’s what good pieces of clothing really do.

hope everyone had a wonderful christmas! i know i can’t wait to show off some new additions to my wardrobe.

pretty sure i’m going to be reusing this look throughout the rest of the winter. the super cozy faux fur seems to balance out my love for short shorts on very cold days.

shakedown 1979

December 15th, 2010

9 out of 10 times i put on a dress i feel way too girly and end up changing before i can leave the house. this one somehow made the cut, despite the fact that it’s pink. i’m playing up the retro vibe of this piece with a vintage necklace and my trusty bright pink dior lipstick.
